RECYCLED PUPPET WORKSHOP

RECYCLED PUPPET WORKSHOP Recommended Ages: 5-10 Dirty erasers, broken toothpicks, ripped sponges… Junk? No, puppets! Come and see the creatures that emerge from everyday household items. You’ll never look at “junk” the same way again! This workshop is an excellent compliment to recycling programs! Children will be taken step by step through the process of making their own moving-mouth puppet. Once the basic puppet is complete, they can choose from a variety of fun craft supplies and decorate their puppets. A brief lesson on moving mouth manipulation will follow the craft activity, time permitting.

   Come make puppets with master Puppeteer Scotty Swan.He teaches you how to make your own “Muppet” style puppet. You will take the be tracing ,cutting and hot gluing. Then we will add some features to give your puppets “life”. By the end of the workshop, you will have a professional puppet!  Ages 13 & up. Limit 6 students  per class..wear clothes that you can get messy in!   (includes all materials) Bring your own glue gun & Scissors
